Yesterday i described financial misfortune as the worst
thing that can happen to anybody, in continuation today I want to write about
the category of people that are mostly worst hit when there is financial crisis
in a family and I am talking about family in two senses.
1.
EFFECT OF FINANCIAL MISFORTUNE ON IMMEDIATE
FAMILY(NUCLEUS FAMILY)
2.
EFFECT OF FINANCIAL MISFORTUNE ON EXTENDED
FAMILY.
The immediately family in a family are (a) Father (b) Mother and children and out of
this three member of family, the children are the most affected and the way it
affects them differs depending on their age.
For the purpose of better understanding of what I am saying,
I will categorize the children in accordance to the following age.
(a)
Children between ages 0-3
(b)
Children between ages 4-6 and
(c)
Children between ages 7-10
(d)
Children between ages 11-14
(e)
Children between ages 14-17.
I live out children that are from 18 years because in most
society they are counted as adult already and in most cases they can take care
of themselves.
Children in the age 0-3years are mere babies and toddlers,
they do not and cannot dictate to their parents what they want though if they
are uncomfortable they make it known by crying. In essence they are the most
affected because if the financial crises is so serious it may affect their
proper feeding, clothing and health care bill especially in a country where
there are no social welfare in place which can lead to malnutrition of children
of such parents and in a case of sickness of the child or children it can lead
to the death of the child.
Then in the extended family, which I limit to the parents of
the couples, if they are still able to work no problem or if they are wealthy.
where they relies on the couples for their upkeep
probably because of old age or extreme old age, that is another set of people
automatically affected financially by financial problem of their benefactors and unable to feed and get the good
things of life and it
can also result in death of such aged parent because their feeding and health
care will immediately be affected.
And sometime their children started staying away from them
because they could not bear the agony that accompany their inability to take
care of feeding and the basic things needed by their parents.
In all regards, financial difficulty tears people of same
family apart except it is managed maturely.
